About Botany France

The story of Botany France begins at home. More specifically with my home in the beautiful Haute Charente region of France. The 300 year old barn attached to an ancient farm, nestled between lake and forest which my husband and I lovingly restored over 3 years. Moving from the UK to France in 2016 we wanted to embrace a new culture, new language and a new sustainable way of living. 

So why Botany?

I have always adored being in the outdoors, I find that nature is a real remedy for the soul. Gardening in particular has always been a passion and my new home has given me the opportunity to explore the power of plants and learn more about their uses in traditional and holistic medicine. Botany France is a natural development of my interests; interiors, sustainability, nature, traditional crafts and well-being.
